Parents Names: Michele Mardis (Mom) Mike Richardson (Grandpa)
Number of Years Playing: I’ve been playing soccer since I was six years old. I played for NKYSA until eighth grade then played for Gray and have been playing for Ryle since.
Achievements: I received the Defensive Player of the Year my sophomore year. I have always gotten good grades; even while soccer and having a job.
My Favorite Memory: My junior year, Lanie Kolkmeyer and I were “bench buddies” and we would juggle with each other to see how many headers we could hit before the ball would hit the ground. And scoring at the Cooper game my senior year.
The Team I Most Like to Play Against is: Boone and Cooper
Most Valuable Lesson Learned: To be thankful for everything that I have and work really hard for everything that I want the most.
Something Interesting No One Knew about Me: My nickname that my family calls me is “Fe-Fe”. I’ve been called that since I was born.
My Plans after Graduation: I either want to become a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse; so for either one I’ll be in a nursing program for a little while.
Personal Message: I definitely want to thank my mom and my grandpa for always being there for me and for always going to every one of my games. I also want to thank all of my teammates for being the best group of girls that we’ve had. You guys had ma laughing all the time. I also want to recognize all the other senior girls on the team. Most of us have been together since before freshman year and we have pretty much grown to each other. We could always make each other smile when one was needed. I’ll miss all the jokes and laughs that we’ve all had and even the stupid little bickers that we now look back and laugh at. And to the coaches…Coach Echeverria, Moore, Margrave, Erickson, Megan, and Jackson, thank you so much for pushing me and all the other girls for giving the one hundred and ten percent all the time no matter what the outcome was. Thank everyone so much for everything and I’ll miss you guys so much!!! And just a piece of advice of the eighth graders and freshman, take full advantage of all your high school years because they will fly by.
